Wael Sweidan Manager – Compliance Department
Wael Sweidan joined Jerusalem Insurance Company (JICO) on May 4, 2025, as the Compliance Manager, bringing with him over 16 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Applied Science University (ASU).
Before joining JICO, Wael spent six years at Arab Bank and eight years at Jordan Ahli Bank. Most recently, he served as the Compliance Manager at Ahli Microfinance Company for nearly two years. Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and anti-money laundering, with a strong focus on aligning institutional practices with both local and international standards.
In addition to his practical experience, Wael holds several professional certifications and actively participates in specialized courses and training programs to stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
