Maher Al-Mahrouq Member – Board of Directors
Maher Al-Mahrouq has been a member of the JICO Board of Directors since 2025. Is a member of the personal data protection council since 2024 and member of the Board of Directors of the Postal Savings Fund since 2022.
Al-Mahrouq has over 27 years of experience in industrial economics. Al-Mahrouq has authored several publications and contributed extensively to the development of Jordan’s industrial and economic sectors. He is currently the Director General of the Association of Banks in Jordan and previously served as Director General of the Jordan Chamber of Industry. Al-Mahrouq has served in many different sectors, such as the Ministry of planning and international cooperation, held teaching positions at universities both in Jordan and abroad.
Al-Mahrouq has obtained his PhD in economics from Newcastle Business school, his master’s degree in economics from the University of Jordan and his bachelor’s degree in economics from university of Mutah.
