Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Officer to join our Fire & General Insurance Department. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient policy administration, accurate documentation, and high-quality service to clients and business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and process Fire & General Insurance policies, endorsements, renewals, and related transactions.
- Review insurance applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate with clients, brokers, insurance companies, and internal departments as required.
- Prepare quotations, policy documents, reports, and other insurance-related correspondence.
- Track policy renewals, outstanding documentation, and pending transactions and follow up as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure proper filing of insurance documents.
- Support the underwriting and claims processes when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable insurance regulations.
- Deliver professional and timely support to clients and business partners.
- Perform other department-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Fire & General Insurance.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in project management.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Extra Skills: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
