In celebration of International Women’s Day, Jerusalem Insurance organized a special event for its female employees in collaboration with the Princess Taghreed Foundation for Development and Training. The event, held yesterday, was a tribute to the tremendous efforts and vital contributions of women to the company’s success.
The celebration featured a luncheon attended by board members Ms. Hala Shaqir and Ms. Rania Al-Masri, along with the employees. Dr. Agadeer Juayhan, General Director of the Princess Taghreed Foundation, was also invited to share her inspiring success story, as well as stories of young women whose lives were significantly impacted by the foundation’s support and empowerment.
Additionally, the event welcomed media personality Rahaf Sawalha, who spoke about her journey in the media industry and the challenges she overcame to achieve success. She encouraged women to believe in themselves and their abilities, emphasizing the importance of women supporting one another.
Ms. Hala Shaqir highlighted the positive role women have played at Jerusalem Insurance over the past three decades, holding key positions, including in sensitive and high-responsibility areas. She stated, “Today, we celebrate not only the hard-working women of our company but also the mothers, sisters, and daughters. This event is a token of appreciation for their dedication, away from the formalities of work.”
