JICO offers secure, safe, and swift coverage for your home (“Darna”) and other options to ensure you get the protection you need. In case of a home accident that requires you to find suitable accommodation while the issue is resolved, JICO will cover the cost of renting an equivalent residence for up to six months, with a maximum of JD 500 per month.

JICO’s Darna Insurance covers your house and belongings against life’s unexpected events through our building and contents insurance as well as a host of a range of optional extras to ensure your home and valuables are widely protected.

Standard householder insurance policies will help pay to repair damage caused by certain risks or perils, including theft, fire and smoke, SRCC (Strikes, Riots, Civil Commotion), as well as natural disasters, like windstorms, earthquakes, and floods. The benefits of the JICO policy include:
- Up to JD 500 monthly rent stipend (for a maximum duration of 6 months)
- Up to JD 20,000 legal liability
- Up to JD 10,000 physical harm compensation for the injured and his/her spouse
- Up to JD 10,000 life insurance (limited up to 60 years)
- Contents insurance: Up to 15% of the value of jewelry (in a locked safe)
- Liability against damage to the neighbors, like the spread of fire
- Up to JD 750 for the loss of documents
- Up to JD 80 for the following emergency expenses:
- Plumbing
- Electrical wiring and maintenance
- External glass replacement
