Ahmad Khalil Husain Manager – Motor Insurance
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ahmad Khalil Ibrahim Hussein has dedicated his professional career to Jerusalem Insurance Company since 1993. He began his journey as an Insurance Clerk, handling various types of policies, and through years of hard work and growth, he ascended the ranks to become the Director of the Motor Department in 2024.
Ahmad holds a Diploma in Accounting (1993) and a bachelor’s degree in commerce with a specialization in Insurance from Al-Neelain University in Sudan. He also earned a Professional Insurance Diploma from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) in 2005 and completed advanced English language training at the British Council up to Level 6. Over the years, he held several key supervisory and managerial roles, including Section Head and Deputy Department Manager, where he made significant contributions to the development and efficiency of the Motor Claims Department.
Throughout his career, Ahmad has actively participated in shaping industry standards, serving on several committees within the Jordan Insurance Federation, including:
• Executive Committee for Motor Insurance (2016–2018)
• Buses Committee (2018)
• Borders Committee (2022)
• Dispute Resolution Committee for Orange Card Agreements (2024)
He has been ISO 9000 certified in Quality Management since 1998 and has pursued advanced training in areas such as marketing, financial statement analysis, and traffic accident investigation.
Among his most notable achievements is representing Jerusalem Insurance Company in key national insurance forums, where his contributions helped improve policies and regulations within the industry.
Outside of his professional life, Ahmad is an enthusiastic follower of the Amman Financial Market and enjoys walking as part of his regular routine. A former basketball player, he values teamwork and leadership both on and off the court.
Although he may initially appear as a strict manager, those who work closely with Ahmad understand that he brings a balanced and approachable leadership style to the workplace.
