Hisham Sbaih Manager – Internal Audit Department
Hashim Sbaih obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The World Islamic Sciences & Education University in 2013.
Currently, Sbaih serves as the Manager of the Internal Audit Department at Jerusalem Insurance Company (JICO), where he leads the development and execution of audit strategies that strengthen internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sound corporate governance. With over a decade of experience in internal auditing, risk management, and financial oversight, he plays a key role in safeguarding the company’s operations and enhancing overall accountability. Prior to joining JICO, Hashim served as the Head of Internal Audit at Al Samaha Islamic Finance Company in Amman, where he managed enterprise-wide audits and advised on risk mitigation and operational efficiency. His earlier experience also includes roles in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, including Internal Auditor at Al-Rashed Foods Company in Jeddah and Senior Accountant at Maltrans company.
Throughout his career, Sbaih has contributed to numerous strategic committees, including those focused on human resources, innovation, credit risk, and strategic planning. He is also committed to continuous professional development, having completed a range of specialized training in internal auditing, fraud detection, and anti-money laundering.
